A fresh sea breeze with musks and woods. A ray of sunny citrus. A gentle cloud of musk floating on a sea breeze with the scent of heliotrope and jasmine. A few peppercorns, like black sand on the beach of an island. The warmth of amber skin, silky like sandalwood. The air vibrates with Iso E Super. A miracle molecule with creamy, woody facets that smell different on everyone. This is how your own personal fragrance is created. Divine!
The history of Lalique has always been closely linked to that of perfumery. In 1905, René Lalique opened a shop at 24, Place Vendôme, where he exhibited not only his jewellery but also the glass objects made in his workshop on his estate in Clairefontaine near Rambouillet. The perfumer François Coty was so impressed by René Lalique's designs that he asked him to put his talent at the service of the perfume industry. Their joint work revolutionised the perfume industry and made it possible for the first time to offer perfumes in attractive bottles at affordable prices. From then on, Lalique worked increasingly on designs for the perfume industry and eventually devoted himself entirely to the more industrial techniques of glassmaking. When Marie-Claude, René Lalique's granddaughter, created the eponymous fragrance "Lalique de Lalique" in 1992, the success story of Lalique Parfum was finally unstoppable.
